Hands of Hope America understands that life is unpredictable, filled with surprises and challenges that can cause confusion and hardship. We’re committed to helping individuals and families navigate these difficulties by offering a variety of programs and services designed to promote resilience and success.
Our organization provides immediate support through emergency food assistance, clothing, and essential household items for those facing financial hardship. We also offer financial literacy classes to empower people with the skills to manage their finances effectively.
For individuals requiring in-depth support, our case management services are available to guide them through complex situations and connect them with necessary resources. We facilitate employment assistance and adult education, including ESOL and GED classes, to enhance job prospects.
We extend services like notary, computer access, and fax and copy assistance, along with help in applying for Access Florida SNAP benefits and issuing Hope Letters for Community Health Services.
Recognizing the critical role of mental health, we provide community mental health services based on scientific evidence for both children and adults, alongside resume-building workshops aimed at job interview preparation.
Our youth programs offer educational and recreational activities for children and teens, including a free summer feeding program to ensure access to nutritious meals.
In the Four Corners of Central Florida, we focus on supporting families and children through the R.I.S.E Youth enrichment program, designed to foster resilience, inspiration, self-discovery, and empowerment among young people aged 9-14. This program emphasizes teamwork, communication, diversity, and inclusion, alongside physical and mental health, through leadership and mentorship opportunities, community service, workshops, and access to academic and mental health services.
